BESS Integration for Commercial & Industrial Facilities

From Feasibility to Full Operation — We Own the Entire Stack.

End-to-End BESS — Nothing Left Out

GarudaVolt provides end-to-end Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) services for commercial and industrial customers across India. We handle everything: energy auditing, system design, equipment procurement, civil and electrical installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.

We are at the start of our project journey — which means our early customers get something rarely available from established integrators: the undivided attention of our founding technical team, a genuinely tailored solution, and a partner with a long-term stake in getting the first project absolutely right.

What Is Costing Your Facility Money

📈

High Maximum Demand Charges

Indian industrial tariffs include a demand charge billed on your peak kVA draw — regardless of actual energy consumed. Even a 30-minute peak each day drives your entire month's MD charge. A correctly sized BESS discharging during those peaks directly reduces this charge.

☀️

Solar Self-Consumption Mismatch

Your rooftop solar generates peak power between 10am and 3pm. Your factory's peak load is often in the evening. Without storage, surplus solar is exported at low rates while you import expensive grid power. A BESS bridges that mismatch — directly.

Grid Unreliability & Diesel Dependence

Diesel gensets are expensive, polluting, and require maintenance. A BESS system configured for backup can replace or substantially reduce genset dependency — with zero emissions and lower operating cost over the system lifetime.

🕐

Time-of-Use Tariff Exposure

Several state DISCOMs are moving to or already operate ToU tariffs. A BESS charged during low-rate hours and discharged during peak-rate hours captures the tariff spread as direct, measurable savings on every bill cycle.

7-Phase End-to-End Delivery

1

Feasibility & Energy Audit

  • Analysis of historical electricity bills (12 months)
  • Load profile analysis using 15-minute interval AMI/smart meter data
  • Tariff structure mapping: fixed charges, MD charges, ToU rates
  • Financial modelling: BESS investment vs. savings, simple payback, IRR/NPV
  • Site visit: electrical room, switchgear, cable routes, civil constraints
Deliverable: Feasibility Report with system sizing and financial case
2

System Design

  • Battery capacity (kWh) and power (kW) sizing
  • Inverter / Power Conversion System (PCS) selection
  • System Single-Line Diagram (SLD)
  • Energy Management System (EMS) architecture and dispatch logic
  • Grid interconnection design per IEGC and state DISCOM norms
Deliverable: Detailed Design Package with SLD, equipment schedule, regulatory docs
3

Procurement

  • Battery modules (GarudaVolt manufactured or OEM partner)
  • PCS / Inverter: [Partner — e.g., Sungrow, SMA, Delta]
  • EMS platform: [In-house or partner platform]
  • Switchgear, protection relays, metering equipment
